Charges two types

(1) positive charge (2) Negative charge

(1) positive charge – when glass rod rubbed with Silk cloth then charge produce on glass rod is called positive charge which is previously known as vitreous charge.

(2) Negative charge= when Amber rod is rubbed with woolen clothes then charged produce amber rod is called negative charge which is previous known as resinous charge
